🇵🇱🤝🇵🇪 The first mission of the Polish mining sector to Peru, organised by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) and the Polish Embassy in Lima, has come to an end. Polish companies from the industry, including ours, also participated in the mission.
As part of the mission, we took part in one of the largest mining fairs in Latin America – #Perumin37 in Arequipa.
It was an excellent opportunity to:
🔹present Polish solutions for the mining industry,
🔹hold B2B meetings with the largest mines in the region (including Glencore, Chinalco, BHP, Cerro Verde),
🔹talk to leading design companies,
🔹learn about the specifics of the Peruvian market and the procedures for cooperation with mines.
Polish companies were also able to present their technologies during the event ‘Polonia: Soluciones Mineras para América Latina’, which brought together over 50 local entrepreneurs. The special guests of the meeting were Deputy Minister of Mining Augusto Cauti and Chargé d’affaires a.i. Anna Pieńkosz.
Additionally, talks with Minister of Energy and Mining Jorge Luis Montero Cornejo and President of the Instituto de Ingenieros de Minas del Perú, Gustavo De Vinatea Bellatin, were a valuable part of the programme.
This experience and the contacts we have made open up new opportunities for cooperation and further expansion into the Latin American market.
